Thomas has extensive experience in restructuring, management, and M&A across private and listed Australian entities, including several successful exits over varied industry sectors.

Stuart is an Executive Director of Jungle Capital and currently serves as CEO of Humm Group (ASX:HUM). Prior to his role at Humm Group, Stuart was the CEO of NASDAQ Listed financial services company EzCorp Inc.

Stuart’s previous roles include CEO of Bank of Queensland and CEO of Caledonia Investments Pty Ltd.

Stuart also served 8 years as at Commonwealth Bank of Australia as CFO and Group Executive of Wealth Management (encompassing Colonial First State Investments).

James is a Board Member of The Children’s Cancer Foundation, My Room and Million Dollar Lunch.

James’ previous roles have included Co-Founder and Owner of Healthcare of Australia Holdings Pty Ltd which was sold to Healthscope Ltd. James also retired as Chairman of ADC Forum in 2017.

Prior to this, James was an Analyst with the Merrill Lynch investment banking group.

James holds a Masters in Accounting, Masters in Business Administration and Bachelor of Business – Banking and Finance.

Get Investment

Every time we make an investment it’s slightly different, but this is the general process you can expect.

Raising money is one of the hardest and most stressful things a founder can do. We work hard to make the process as easy and straightforward as we can for you and your team.

Week 1: We receive your pitch deck. Usually, we are introduced to you by a mutual contact. Sometimes we are emailed cold, and that works.
Week 2: Catch-up with our Executive team, informal, friendly, mutual discussion. Are we the right fit for each other?
Week 3: Your partner discusses your startup at our weekly Investment Meeting.
Week 4: Follow-up from the Investment Meeting. This is also when our version of due diligence starts.
Week 5: You’ll run through your pitch and then field questions from a number of our key investor group. After the meeting we will get in touch within a few hours with a plan for follow-up. It’s possible at this point we might need to undertake more due diligence.
Week 6: It’s a Yes or perhaps unfortunately a no. Either way we want to tell you as soon as we possibly can.
Week 7: Term Sheet Time
Week 8: Full Documents & Funding transfer.
